How do I teach my kids to contribute to the upkeep of the home?
Start when they are very little kids. Give them petty cleaning work as though it is just a play for fun. Appreciate them for their contribution as though it is some great task they have accomplished.
This will work only till they grow up to become boys and girls; then they will find out that all your tactics and strategies were only aimed at getting them do the dirty work. Once they understand that, they will stop helping you!!
