Does being a lone parent make you act far more immature with your kids than you would do...

otherwise? Can this be a bad thing, as I don't ever remember my parents acting so silly with me when I was little?

I think a lone parent would act more responsibly because there are on there own and they don't have time to act foolish.

Both.  I think a single parent has to be more mature to juggle everything. But there isn't another adult around to judge you if you act silly with or for the kids... so you can let your hair down more too.  I think it's good for the kids as long as immaturity doesn't mean not paying the bills or getting them to school on time.
