Why is motherhood so stressful sometimes?
I absolutely adore and love my 2 toddlers but as a full time working mum, I sometimes find it so stressful as it feels like I'm not doing it right. Is this normal?
Can't help you there because I don't have children. No regrets.
Yes, and there is no shame in putting your children in daycare. Daycares today are much better than they used to be and many kids will often come out smarter and better prepared for school than they would be if raised by the over-worked "servant-mom".
It IS absolutely stressful! You are completely responsible for these little beautiful people, trying to instill good morals and behaviour, all the while working, running a household and maybe getting time to have a shower! You are so normal, especially working full time. I am on leave right now but going back in Nov. With my first I went back to work when he was 2 months old. You are doing great
Thanks Old Expresario and MummyTales. I have a nanny who cares for them at home and for one day a week the older child, 33months now goes to nursery. it just is sometimes hard to figure out if you are doing it right with only 16 months between the two, there's not much to go on in terms of experience. It's always been trying out what works best with the framework and how I would like them to grow up.

I've always wanted a child or children but as I get older and see the bs some friends / family have to go thru, I don't always envy it. How do you feel?

I never see this coming since everything was so great with us. We never have a big...

Do parents own their children? This question can be interpreted in different ways; I'm open to reading what this means to everyone in their own personal responses. I've thought about this myself for years, first as an adolescent and now as a young adult. I've pondered it in different contexts and...
