At what age is it alright for children to bathe on their own?
My 6 and 8 yr olds take showers by themselves. I do still set the temp on the water for the 6 year old just to be on the safe side.
Children and water should be supervised. Yes, even in the shower. They'll get cleaner too.
It does not take much water along with a covered floor drain to create a potentially dangerous situation.
I would say seven. They could start at 6 but not without supervision.
It's been a long time, but I think my kids were about 10. They mostly took baths until they were in their teen years.
At the age of 3, we should allow our children to bathe on their own.
