Food and shelter to spare, domestic peace and love, and knowing that the bills can and will be paid.
living well means being happy with your life, whatever it may be that makes you happy.
a sense of happiness, or at least having the things around you that give you the capacity to find happiness. not being so poor that you have to go without food or warmth, or adequate clothing.... not feeling lonely. We can't all have good health, but a measure of health or at least someone caring for us if we are ill.....
