Do people still have baby showers for their second or third child ?
For mother's to be that are having their second or third child is it common to have a baby shower or is it just for first time mums ?
In this day and age it is. It becomes more of a celebration of the new baby than just making sure that the new parents have all they need. There are all kinds of different ideas you could do for a baby shower for second plus babies.
Yes, there is a baby shower for the second one, at least I had one and most of my friends did. This is more about acknowledging the mother and her special new arrival than gifts, though. I remember having my nails done during my second baby shower and just a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
