   What one person has had the most positive impact on your life and why?
   
   Everyone has at least one person that they hold close to their heart for the positive influence they had. Who was it for you? Why? Please don't list celebrities unless you know them personally.

   My Father, he was the finest man a person could ever know and taught me honor, respect and old fashioned morals.

      Thank you for sharing. I read your hub and it was moving. What a wonderful tribute. My own hero was my grandfather, your father's story remind me of him.

   My mother. I had a few people but my mother stands out above all others. She was a mother of ten children and expecting another when the love of her life was taken from her by a fatal heart attack. Only to die and come back two months later from complications of her pregnancy. In spite of all that had been thrown her way she was patient, honest, warm, and loving. She taught us to love everyone unconditionally, or at least she tried.
   She struggled to make ends meet and yet managed to keep a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs. Animals and children took to her instantly and adults didn't take long to follow suit. Everyone who knew her in the slightest thought she was wonderful.
   I can't really find the words or the way to give her the credit she is due.

   There have been two people who have profoundly affected my life in a positive way. Both died from cancer around age 50. They taught me to appreciate the great blessings before me, to live each day to the fullest, and to not harbor bitterness for the things that happen to me. We spend so much time trying to control things. It is when we have no more control and relinquish all to God, that we finally live out our days in peace.

   My daughter. She came into my life when I was in a very dark place. She gave me a reason to keep on going, a reason to live.
   
   She got here just in time to pull me out of rock bottom. I thank God for that little girl.

   My 4th grade teacher.. Mrs, Koepping.  She pushed me to try harder, even though I stood out in the class being the only black kid and other kids in class would make smart comments, but she always had my back and treated me like her son.  She will always be the best teacher I ever had.

   My best friend. She is one of the main reasons I am still here in this world, and I love her more than I can ever express in words. She's my other half and I'm so lucky to have her in my life.
