What is the lesson you learned from your father/dad which you can share to your children?
In view of the coming Father's Day, we remember and honor all the dads. Can you share some valuable lessons you learned from your dad which are useful for you as a parent?
The main lesson I have learnt from my Father is that, no matter what your state of finances or personal circumstance, it is possible to find fun in nearly any situation. My father is in his 80's and still acts like a little boy and has a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He plays jokes, laughs and smiles more than anyone I know. As a child he made every new experience an adventure for me and I try so hard now to continue living the way he taught me. Life is a great big fun adventure if you want it to be!

My Pops taught me how to stand up for myself. How not to take crap from anyone, how to dream big, as well as to pursue those dreams with vigour and a fervent heart. Happy Father's Day, Dad!
