What would you tell your fourteen year old self if you could time travel?
Is there anything that you would like to time travel to tell your fourteen year old self, and advice or warning?
Yes, but would my 14 yr old self listen? If I could I would tell myself that there is pain coming but hang on it will get better - even when it seems like it won't And don't let anyone keep you from getting an education. Just do it and you will not be sorry.
I would tell myself to play sports in school. Whatever you could find. I would also tell myself to stop being such a jerk to so many people, but I think I needed to do that to learn a VERY valuable lesson later. It is hard to pick something, because everything I did back then helped to form who I am now, and I kinda like who I am now.
I would tell myself to save every penny I earned from after school jobs and not to waste it on fads and fast food.
I would tell myself about being sensitive to gluten, and advise myself to get it out of my diet right away!
How my life might have been different if the gluten induced depression had been steered away from me at the age of fourteen!
Luckily, I did find out about it, and am helping my kids with it. Together we have learned about Being Gluten Free! http://sparklechi.hubpages.com/hub/Being-Gluten-Free
May be to study harder and to set higher goals in life. I think I didn't take life seriously at that age and lost of important life lessons as a result.
