Why cant some teenage kids communicate properly with each other?

Is it everyday technology such as mobile phones and social sites that affect the way teenagers communicate face to face what do you think?

I think it's the media that cause the problem. Teenage kids become arrogant, aggressive due to impatient attitude and bad language influence from what they watch, hear and learnt.

Teenagers are learning bad stuff much quicker than the good stuff. Get them to learn bad attitude, 5 min will do. Get them to learn good attitude, takes them 50 donkey years!

totally agree, media influences many teenagers, with my own kids they can say what they like on facebook or bbm but it can also be misinterpreted. They come face to face with that person they have nothing to talk about as its all done over text!

Because many of them can only grunt and wave their arms about. They can't communicate properly with anybody. It's just a phase in most cases.

I know, I have just had to put a time limit on my kids mobiles as I cant get a decent conversation out of them. They're so pre-occupied about getting a message back from friends, they become really ignorant, without the phone they talk more to us.
