What would you consider to be some Murphy's Laws of parenting?
The child will be enthralled with a show or game until you get on the phone.
Know what you don't know, and act like you don't know what you know.
Good question! My children will inevitably want my undivided attention the moment I attempt to give it to someone else.
Well, I'm not a parent, but speaking from my own childhood: "Whatever is wrong in your child's life, you'll be the last to understand it."
I hope you'll collect these into a hub!
I LOVE this question! The first ones to come to mind:
The doorbell will ring when your kids are down for naps.
One will get a black eye or spill something on his new shirt on picture day.
They will completely ignore you until you try to go to the bathroom or take a shower.
