When it comes to punishing a child, who is always right? Mother, father or both?
No one is always right. Every mother and every father will make mistakes. And sometimes there is no clear right or wrong.
It may not be a matter of who is right but what is right, and who is proposing it at the time.
Having a plan can help. Being of common mind with your child's mother may help give your child a sense of safety in consistency.
There is never a right or wrong, it always how you work with each other on a way to help your child see their wrong doing. But if you do disagree please never do it in front of your child, I think you should always present a united front to your child. At least until you’re behind closed doors where your child can’t hear, and then and only then do you tell your spouse that you don’t agree.
