Because that's our job, young'un! Now quit giving us attitude and go clean your damn room!!
Don't know your age or your specific "issue" with your parents, young one, but I'll be happy to chime in on this.
I don't need to know your parents to know that they are very responsible parents who love you very much. This is because, parents who care, expect good behavior, establish guidelines & reasonable rules, are the parents who are described by their children as "annoying."
I will probably be repeating things you've heard many times already from other adults (including your Mom & Dad) but pay attention to those words of wisdom. All good parents want the very best for their children. You must know this.
What you may be having a hard time understanding is that because they've lived in the world more than 2 decades longer than you have, they have much experience and know quite a bit about the world and how it works, about people & what makes them tick and they've also learned a lot about the smarter & more sensible things to do to insure a healthy, happy successful life.
All you have to remember is that your parents would not lie to you nor steer you wrong intentionally. Give them a break Shahan & yourself a favor and try as best you can to really listen to them, show them love & respect and trust that what seems like "annoyance" to you at this time, will result in being a wonderful gift in just a few years.
Please give this some serious thought. and Good Luck. Peace, Paula......(Oh yes, I also agree with Fat Freddy's Cat!! LOL)
