   I've stumbled upon a truth so powerful it cannot be denied.  Of all places, I was watching some TV show and one sentence utter by an actor opened my eyes for the first time.  After 34 years of raising five sons I feel I am qualified to attest to the truth of this statement. 
   
   "God gives us children so that death won't be such a dissappointment."
   
   Irrefutable truth but I welcome all arguments.

      I think it is a bit of a far leap to credit the basic life drive of every organism - to reproduce - as a god given gift just for us. while I am able to agree the sentiment attributing it to a god just for us is mind-blowingly self centred.

            haha I'm simply a woman who, since we down-graded our cable service, has fallen into the trap of picking some bad shows from amongst other bad shows!  Never thought I'd get tired of Glenn Beck, but since he's ignored a major issue, I think I've heard all he has to say.

      Absolutely.  Additionally, they keep you young.  Seeing the world through the eyes of my boys as they've grown has been the highlight of my life.
