Easy Fish Curry Recipe

Updated on May 5, 2013

Fish Curry for Dinner Tonite

Easy Fish Curry Recipe

Two words that intrigue me to check out specific recipes and they are easy and quick. I am not one of those cooks who enjoys long and laborious ingredients and directions for recipes. I generally cut out ingredients, change the spices and find a way to make it easy and fast. Curry is a combination of different spices, but you can easily buy it already prepared in the store. One thing about curry is that you either love it or dislike it. I use curry powder for many things-salad dressings, chicken recipes, eggs and cooking vegetables. This is my rendition of an easy fish curry recipe. You can use almost any fish for this recipe, even fragile sole, as the sauce is made before the fish is added.

      Hi carol7777,

Yum-yum! This recipe looks great, really delicious. I love the chutney, too. Is there any particular fish that you think this would go well with or do you think any kind? I was thinking that the sauce could work with mixed seafood, too.

This is definitely something I have to try - my mouth is watering right now!

I'm pretty sure 'curry' could bring the life out in anything - it just has that kind of 'kick' to put an 'edge' into any food group - but I never thought about fish in this way though - I love how to present everything in your recipe hubs and make it easy to follow for the novice in the kitchen but also appealing to the seasoned chef as well.

Hubbravo. sending you good thoughts from lake erie time ontario canada 8:29am and talk about fish - time for a bagel with salmon cream cheese ......

I think fish and curry go well together since the rich flavor of curry tends to take away the fishy smell (if any). I make fish curry too and I love it with a little sour in it (in Asia, we use tamarind but here, I use lemons). I love chutney and thanks for supplying the recipe.
