Nutty Caramel Apple Crisp
- Tender Tart Apples: 3
- Chopped Pecans or Walnuts or Dry Roasted Cashew Nuts: ¾ cup.
- White Granulated Sugar: ½ cup
- Pecans: Whole Wheat Flour: ½ cup.
- Regular rolled Oats: 1/3 cup.
- Brown Sugar: ½ cup.
- Ground cinnamon: 1 ½ Tsp
- Grounded Nutmeg: ½ Tsp.
- Butter: 6 Tbsp.
10. All purpose floor: ¾ cup.
11. Boiled Cider: 2 Tbsp.
12. Caramel Ice Cream: ¾ for topping.
13. Vanilla Ice cream.
- Peel the apples and cut them in thin slices.
- Take a Medium Bowl and put in ½ cup of flour.
- Add oats and brown sugar. Mix well.
- Add ¾ Tsp of cumin and ¼ tsp of nutmeg.
- Now cut the butter in very small pieces and add in the mixture.
- Now add pecans in the mixture and mix well and set aside.
- Now in another bowl add granulated sugar and ¼ cup of all purpose flour.
- Add the apples.
- Gently mix them till all the apple slices are coated with flour.
- 10. Now take a 9x9x2 inch baking dish and transfer the entire apple in it.
11. Press apple gently to make even surface.
12. In a bowl take 2 Tbsp of boiled cider and whisk well with caramel sauce.
13. Dazzle the sauce over the apples.
14. Now take the flour mixture and sprinkle over the apples.
15. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees and bake apples uncovered for about 40 minutes.
16. Now apple are tender and top is golden.
17. Now let it cool for 20 minutes.
18. Now take a small microwave safe bowl and put remaining caramel sauce and microwave at high for 20 seconds.
19. Dazzle this sauce over the apples.
20. Serve with Ice cream.
