Instructions

  1. Pour a glass of your favorite wine. Take a sip and set it aside.
  2. Preheat grill to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Place Salmon filled on cutting board (skin side down) and cut into four pieces of approximately the same size.
  4. Turn salmon over aid lightly season with sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Other seasonings can be added but sometimes less is more. In this case I’m keeping it sweet and simple.
  5. Prepare an Olive oil/lemon juice mixture for the salmon. I use about one part Lemon to Two parts Olive Oil.
  6. When grill has been heated, spray it with a non-stick grilling spray.
  7. Place salmon on grill, skin side up and close barbecue lid.
  8. Take a sip of wine.
  9. Grill for about Seven minutes. Grilling time will vary depending on thickness of fillet.
  10. With a metal barbecue spatula carefully flip the salmon over.
  11. Apply olive oil/lemon juice mixture to salmon with a barbecue basting bush.
  12. Close lid and grill for about seven more minutes.
  13. Apply olive oil/lemon juice mixture to salmon with a barbecue basting bush once again before taking the fish off the grill.
  14. When removing the salmon from the grill, carefully slide the spatula between the skin and the meat. The skin will remain on the grill and the salmon will be place on a platter.
