how much space do you have, how often will you cook, durability is an important factor. you can spend up to $400 bucks for a nice looking grill that wont last.
the gauge (thickness) of the metal is an important detail for me. I cook out 2-3 times weekly and it had better be tough and versatile enough to use different cooking methods, and the grill or fire tray needs to able to go up and down..You may find a nice grill in the local ads or craigslist. Your local propane store sometimes have grills for sale & Home improvement stores have a good variety of grills, a combination gas and charcoal setup is extremely practical and they are becoming more affordable everyday
My take but I'm a grill-aholic...have fun grilling
