Sweet, melting chocolate or crunchy, salty crisps, which would you pick?

On this most chocolate filled of days! Are you more tempted by the sweet, smooth chocolate egg or the lure of salty, crunchy, savoury crisps?

I often go for the salty, crispy snacks, but how great is it when you can mix both.  My family loves eating chocolate milk shakes with french fries.  Not healthy but good.

What a question! I love both so I would dip the salty crisps into melted chocolate or I love melting chocolate in the mouth and then have a crinkle cut cheese and onion flavor crisp on top . . . . For the fans of both it is heaven!!

I'll always choose the chocolate. Sarris candy is my favorite. I could binge on those eggs all day!

I am having a tough time answering questions, I ask forgiveness. Seems if one considers the a type of nutrition planning known as the the Metabolic Typing Diet those as cravings and as a lure of behavior paint a picture of something different. They are indicators of lack of the body seeking to be fulfilled to be well. Understanding what the body lacks interpreted by that system of nutrition one learns it may be protein, carbs, or fat that is really sought.

They are only satisfied by the answer for the cravings, which may be a disguise being sweet and salty likened to an attribute of what the body is asking for through one's nature. That nutrition systems helps with that understanding and offers solutions how to get that nourishment. Example. What taste salty with bare bones basics. The hunter is the answer with meat and uncured meat. Caveman mentality?

They propose the answer is protein or fats. Meat, not necessarily as protein is available with, say, lentil beans or other legumes. And, sweet is to taste as fruit and sweet corn and etc. So, maybe carbs is what the body is asking for to be well.

Yet that does not answer the basal element of lust of something that is sweet or salty. That is too deep for me, so I am bailing out at this point - giggle . . .

It has to be the right chocolate and can't be cheap. Those Belgium chocolates that are shaped like sea horses and shells... (can't remember what they're called..) now I'll take those any day! Just let it melt in my mouth... mmmm.

I wasn't raised with salty snacks so I find them pretty blaaaah. I would much rather have salty mashed potatoes than crisps.

I wish I felt like you do about crisps, they are my calorific downfall! Thankyou for answering Theophanes.

Crunchy, salty crisps!  I prefer salty over sweet items, so that would be my pick!

I am a devout chocoholic, and that is all there is to that!  But I want it pure--please do not ruin my chocolate by adding to it salty things like pretzels!
Also, dark chocolate is my personal preference--the darker, the better.  Milk chocolate is simply not chocolaty enough to suit me.
And white "chocolate?!"  Please!  Not worthy of the name...it has no chocolate flavor at all--it's more like a mouthful of vegetable shortening, for truly, that's all it is--the extracted cocoa butter, which is the fat component of the cocoa.

Thankyou DzyMsLizzy. I know what you mean, I am a crisp girl but if it is chocolate the 90% dark ones are the best.

Oh absolutely! Who ever thought naming their new candy "white chocolate" was out of their ever-lovin' mind. I don't know what it is but it's not chocolate!

I would definitely go for the melting chocolate in moderation that is. Crisps are tempting but not good for high blood pressure.

Definately,  apply moderation and even the unhealthy foods have a place. Thankyou liesl5858.

Can we chose all of them?
That way it cancels out peeps. A little pretzel with chocolate.
    Salty is a must.
Crunchy: no I don't like crunchy things.
Smooth. real good chocolate. Is a must.
Put them all together, it's a holiday in your mouth.
I ate sweet, salty, savory, on Easter. But no chocolate.
Peeps is my downfall.,But never dipped in anything.

Imagine peeps dipped in Mustard! Blah
