If you were able to prepare a breakfast for your family on weekends, what should it be?

Weekends are often a family day. A day to hang-out with your kids and spouse. During weekends I used to prepare a heavy breakfast. And set aside frozen meats. I cooked champorado, and prepared omellette with tuna 'pandesal'. Pandesal is a bread and a freshly cut fruit like peach and mango . And we have fresh fruit juice and water. What about yours? Happy weekend!

Pancakes in the morning with orange juice/hot tea/coffee (it depends on the morning). Strawberry sauce dribbled all over the pancakes with little chocolate chips inside each one. That's the usual Sunday.

Fortunately, I am able to do this.......

It depends on the people at the table:

    Hubby likes bacon and eggs
    Grandaughter likes chocolate chip pancakes
I have a fondness for biscuits and gravy.

I can do all of these, plus omelettes on demand, sausage, occassionally a ham, toast.......

Just tell me what you want.

Your breakfast sounds delicious! Last time I made brunch for friends we had mini soufflés with spinach & bacon, homemade English muffins with blueberry cream cheese, a tropical fruit salad with mango, kiwi, pineapple and strawberries, fresh-squeezed orange juice and hot coffee. My husband almost always asks for pancakes or biscuits and gravy.

Hi, vespawoolf! I think I'll be visiting your site these days. I quickly run through your page and I've seen more yummy recipes. Thank you for answering. Mini souffles with spinach and bacon  and everything you mention sounds more delicious.

On weekends, i usually prepare spaghetti with mushroom soup, crepes or dipped bread into beaten eggs and fry them with butter . Hot beverages like coffee, tea or barli water, sweet desserts. No cold drinks for us.
