    Best way to keep cleaned raw vegetables

    After you’ve cleaned raw vegetables like celery, carrots and radishes, how do you store them? What’s the best way to keep them “fresh” for snacks and cooking? In water filled container? Ziploc bag? Vacuum bag? What gives you best results?

    jstankevicz, I have one of those little ozone refrigerator purifiers in my fridge. I helps food stay fresh for a long time.

    Some time ago I saw advertisements on the green storage bags that keep food fresh longer. Sorry, but I can't remember the name of them.

    Lastly, the vacuum seal machines for food work great to keep food fresh. I don't know the cost of those, but it would be a good investment to keep from throwing out food that's gone bad.
