It is relative. What is exotic for some people can be very natural and common for others.
I would say an exotic fruit is anything that can't be commonly purchased in your local food market. I live in the Midwest, so we always have apples, oranges, grapes, and bananas. To me, exotic fruits are kiwi, mango, star fruit, dragon fruit, pineapple, and lychee.
It all depends on where you are, and generally what isn't grown in your area. Where I live we can readily get things like mangos, pineapples, kiwis, etc. at the local grocery store, but we're in a desert state with pretty radical temperature extremes so there's no way that stuff could actually grow here. On the flip side, I'm sure there are places in the world where raspberries, strawberries and apples are considered exotic, though where I live they're the most common fruits available.
A nice looking fruit with a great taste. For me, I think Rambutant, Longan and dragon fruit are some of the best. If you ever have a vacation stop by and try for some new fruits with your friends. You will have nice vacation to remember of.

What tree/fruit is this? This tree (about 10' tall) yields clusters of pink upside-down bell-like flowers, and round, bumpy fruit a bit smaller than a golf ball that ranges from bright orange to bright red. The fruit has a mild, sweet flavor and a somewhat mealy texture.
