Do you think STEAMING OR BOILING is a better way to cook vegetables? Considering you can still use..
Considering you can still use the water you cook them in?
Steaming your veggies is better than boiling, with steaming you get to keep the nutrients and vitamins that are essential for a healthy body.
Boiling strips most of that away, unless you're making soup, veg. stock, you can still use the water.
Steamed veggies with a dash of pepper and garlic are amazing!
It depends on the veggie in question. Some do far better at retaining nutrients and crunchiness by steaming.
Green beans..............fried.......it is the southern way
Cabbage.......steamed or fried
Zuchinni.......fried, baked, grilled
Variety is the spice of life.

About Getting Rid Of Germs In Raw VegetablesDo raw vegetables contain amoeba and other harmful micro-organisms? If they do, how long should they be steamed in order to be rid of these germs? I believe steaming would be safer than boiling as steam does not destroy nutrients.
