Can I cure bone in pork loin sirloin roast to make ham? Thanks, Allison32.
It will work but you need a good dry cure to use and the temperature needs to be between 42 - 48 degrees when you are doing it. Any colder or any warmer and it won't work. The temperature needs to be consistent for at least three weeks.

What seasonings do you use on a pork roast?I always seem to season my pork roasts with garlic powder, ground pepper, and insert slivers of fresh garlic into the roast. I'm just wondering what everyone else seasons...
