Tabouli, yes......and it is delicious! I have been making it for years and especially crave it whenever I need something cold and healthy to endulge.
The correct spelling is tabbouleh but in Western World it is usually spelled Tabuli -
Ingredients Needed are as follows
juice of 3 lemons
1 1/2 Bunches parsley; chopped fine
3 lg Tomatoes; chopped
2 tb Salad oil
1/4c olive oil
Salt to taste
1 c Fresh mint leaves
1 tb Sugar
1 1/2 Bunches green onions
1 lb Cracked wheat; medium
Clean, wash & chop vegetables. Wash & soak wheat for 10 minutes. Squeeze water from wheat. Add all vegetables, oils, lemon juice, sugar & salt. Mix well. This recipe is better if prepared a day in advance so flavors can melt together.
The Salad is Tabbouleh - A Moroccan Dish

1 stalk scallion
1 table spoon Bulgar wheat
Water to soak wheat
1 clove garlic

Does anyone have a good recipe for restaurant style fried rice?I've tried to make fried rice before, and it was a bit of a disaster. Not that it tasted bad, it just wasn't anything like restaurant fried rice. The rice was too mushy and tended to clump together. Yes, I used chilled rice, and yes I...
