What are the best cool down snacks after a hard hot day at work?
When you work outdoors or play a sport in the hot summer heat, what snack helps to cool you down and makes you feel refreshed at the end of the day?
Example: one of the first things I do after a hot day at work is to get a bowl of vanilla ice cream and cover it with Coca-cola or Frostie Root Beer.
Another way I cool down is to eat cold fruit such as cantaloupe, watermelon or red ruby grapefruit cups.
Vanilla ice cream is my favorite also. For drinks ice cold water or Lipton ice tea from the jar which you mix with water in a picture to drink when you come home from work.
I really like the A&W or Dr. Pepper and vanilla Ice cream "floats!"
But honestly, I'm more of a bud light Chelada guy!!!
Frozen iced tea or mocha frappuccino restores my equilibrium!
a really cold beer is my favorite thing to have to cool down after a long day at work.
Glass of sweet tea does it for me every time. I also love snow cones.

Jeez, air conditioners on, but sweat is still trickling off me and it is so muggy. Humidity is unbelievable! Has anybody any ideas on how to cool down?

What is your all time favorite dessert or treat?Mine is a hot fudge sundae, with whipped cream on top. Actually, I like a little vanilla ice cream with the hot fudge, too. I am so bad about this. I always want extra hot fudge, so I do not have this treat very often.

Guess what I did the other day??I was out of an ingredient, no time to run to store, so I made a very unorthodox substitution that I don't think many people would have thought of. Many if not most would even say "Eeewww!"But--it worked! Here's the story:I had a new recipe for...
