better not to have either of them. it can be bad for your teeth and caffeine is generally not good either. but i think that Tea is a safer option. I hardly ever have coffee or tea, but I am more likely to have Tea. there are so many options with tea.

I enjoy my coffee almost every morning for a start up... but later I move towards green tea... I think some of both are beneficial.
I am going for ginger tea lately, prepared with the actual fresh root. I used to drink coffee but I changed to ginger tea because of its health and especially digestive benefits versus coffee, plus it tastes very nice. Sometimes I vary and mix ginger root and cinnamon stick to add an extra boost of good benefits to my morning drink.
I like coffee in the morning most of the time unless my stomach is upset or something. I do coffee in the morning and tea in the evening. It just seems right.
Nearly every morning, I have either peppermint or rooibos tea, or hot chocolate. It's my little 'pick me up'!
Morning, noon, night, in between, before, during, after . . . tea.
