Does anyone know of a good healthy eating plan?

My daughter-in-law and I were talking.  She would really like to find a good healthy eating plan that everyone can participate in.....5 or 6 small mini meals that even the children (picky eaters) will enjoy.  Since the kids are with me a couple of time per week I want to help.  My daughter-in-law want to lose a few pounds, as well.

Check out Precise Portions website - sell portion control dinnerware system - not just plates, but bowls, glasses, healthy eating guide, various materials like ecook books, food diaries, sample menu plans, monthly coaching series about healthy eating - system of tools to aid you in successful weight management and improving your diet. There's a sample menu plans section (left main navigation) and i am sure there was also something in their blog about healthy eating for children and menu planning...

I could possibly make one for you? Message me some details of your goals, activity, weight and height and I'll try and fix you something up.

Go buy a copy of 'Fit for Life" and read it diligently, it contains all the info you need for healthy eating, and is not  a diet, it's a life changing way of eating.

I did buy this and shared it with my daughter in law.  Coupled with some other suggestions and research we have found what is working, so far, with our family.  Thank you for the suggestions.

Eat anything you like as long as its natural food in sensible quantities. Stay away from any processed food.

I think getting rid of the processed food is the hardest thing for any busy family.  But we did tackle it and we are much, much better....

Eating healthy, is really about taking what you already eat and then substituting healthier food choices for the higher fat. I am not on weight watchers but I use points system which works for me. I know that I can have 23 points a day. I have a little tool that converts my food choices into points. Just seeing the points in a food choice helps me, if something is high in points, many times I will not eat that choice, but will reach for a healthier alternative.

Weight Watchers is something I have done in the past and will do again...thanks to your suggestion.  But this will be a personally thing...for me.
