What are some ways that you get your kids to eat vegetables?
Any healthy recipes that are fun for kids as well?
The best trick that even works on adults is to puree the veggies and add them to food. Using this method, my aunt got my brother-in-law to eat vegetables that he insisted he wouldn't touch. She never told him though - another key! Otherwise he wouldn't want to eat at her house anymore.
I would recommend having them try blander options at first, such as carrots, peas and corn, also offer vegetables at every meal and make sure you set a good example by eating a great variety of vegetables too. The rule at our house is you have to try at least one bite and it's ok if you don't like it. This has worked really well, my children are now 6 & 9 and they will happily try anything and eat almost any vegetable, mushrooms are out, but they enjoy beets, brussel sprouts, green beans, cauliflower, squash, spinach etc. Good luck & hope your little ones start eatting their veggies too!
