    Hello Imarsh-

Here is a dead-bang winner.  And one you may not have thought of.  From my cookbook, Bubbie's Secrets (c) 2004.

    Hope you enjoy it.

    Dilled Cottage Cheese

2 pounds Cottage Cheese (small curd)
    1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
    1 1/4 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
1/4 cup green onions, minced, green portion only
1/2 tsp. celery salt (or 1/8 tsp. celery seed and 1/2 tsp salt)
    1/2 tsp. dried dill weed

    Mix well and refrigerate.

    Makes about 10 servings

Note:  This mixture will be ready to serve within about 30 minutes of mixing.  The longer it sits the stronger it gets (caraway flavor). We prefer to eat it within a day or so.

I have always loved a creamy mashed potato with with my steak. I think it goes very well.

Oh my gosh, there are so many. Actually I think just about everything goes good with steak!
I would say any vegetable, potato, pasta, rice, bean or salad would accompany nicely.
