I like the relish tray - olives, celery, anchovies, sun dried tomatoes, marinated peppers, etc . . . I like to pick around a variety of food more so than eating a large portion of the same thing.

You should only be cooking the usual!  What kind of question is this???  Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and pumpkin pie.  Sheesh.

Well, I'm about tradition at least on Thanksgiving.  To each their own : )

The quest of any great Thanks giving cook is to figure out how to use cranberries in a side dish! I make a Waldorf salad with granny smith apples, walnuts, dried cranberries and a mayonnaise & apple cider vinegar dressing with a dash of pepper corns. I also make a baked garlic & cheddar scalloped potatoes for those who don't like mashed potatoes, which makes the introduction of a ham possible.
