Lavender is the most unusual ingredient I cook with. Just discovered it last year when I decided to grow with my other herbs. It makes certain dishes delicious, it gives it a very delicate unique taste.
I absolutely love using soy sauce in all of my cooking! I don't know why, it really enhances the flavor in all the dishes I cook. I even cook hashbrowns with soy sauce! Oh, and I add a little bit of sesame oil to all my dishes as well, it gives food that extra nutty taste
