Do you buy mint or dandelion greens in a grocery store? Why?
I used to buy mint, but now we grow our own. I buy dandelion greens because I like bitter greens, usually mixed with kale in a greens Italienne with garlic and olive oil and lemon juice, and I'm not confident that dandelions growing wild haven't been sprayed with herbicide or pesticide.
Interesting sidkemp! I was amazed when I first saw dandelions for sale, but like you said, wild greens are suspect. I grow them in my garden *wink* but end up tossing most of'em. Greens italienne sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out. Thanks!
