My impression from what I've heard over the years, though I don't really know the facts on it, is that salmone is the one to go for when thinking of health.

Salmon is one of the healthiest fishes to eat, as long as it is wild caught, such as off the Alaskan coast. As a general rule, farm raised fish are not as healthy as their wild caught cousins.

A fish that has scales and fins both. There is a listing on-line. Fish that do not have scales are scavengers and are high in mercury and heavy metals

Fish is a good choice to add to your healthy diet due to it's high amount of omega 3 fatty acids. The best and most recommended are fresh salmon and tuna. If you're worried about mercury contamination, avoid swordfish.
