   Mayonnaise or Dressing?
   
   If you had to choose between Mayonnaise or Dressing which would it be and why? What is your favorite brand?

   I would have to say mayonnaise. Maybe it's because I'm from the South but I love me some mayo. My favorite brand is Duke's but it's mainly only found on the Eastern side of the States.

   It depends on what I am using it for. Green salads, I like to use salad dressing; blue cheese, and thousand island being my favorites. Anything else, I prefer to use mayo. Kraft's Mayo is the best, especially 'Kraft Mayo With Olive Oil'.

      I have never tried Kraft's may with 'Olive Oil'. I have seen it but truly didn't know if it would taste good or not.

      If you like olive oil you will like this. It does taste little different, and they say that It has less fat .....

   AEvans:  Unfortunately, I do not like either Mayonnaise or Dressing, but I do use it in recipes for others and partake of the dish minus the portion into which it is included.  I do a cooking program with Publix Supermarkets called Aprons, and it often includes recipes called "Simple Meals, and they contain many ingredients that I do not consume, but I prepare them following the recipe, and those who eat the sample meals tell me the food is good.

   I use Hellmann's Mayonnaise on my sandwiches that I have tomato and lettuce with.  I use Miracle Whip to make my potato or macaroni salads or cole slaw.

   Definitely dressing - I discovered lime juice about six months ago - well, to mix with food I mean - the joys of lime juice and olive oil mixed - simply beautiful -so, yes - dressing for me every time

   I like both but perfer Mayonnaise I choose the lite version with a squirt on kebabs, salads and chicken wraps. I'm so hungry now lol

   If it is on a sandwich then Black Pepper Olive Oil Mayonnaise! So yum and supposedly better for you than regular mayo, but I like it because it just tastes good .

    I would choose Hellmann's Mayonnaise because salad dressing taste  to sweet too me.
