What do the parents out there think about feeding you kids fast food.
Alot of us have different views some say don't do it. Some parents say they have no time to cook and it's easy. Some say every once an awhile it's ok even a treat what do you think. If you do it are you wrong are you a bad parent. If you never let your kids have some fast food every once and a while are you the bad guy?
Everything in moderation is a good guideline. Health issues aside, if kids get fast food all the time, it isn't a treat, it becomes daily fare. I think fast food is okay on a very limited basis. If it is done on a rare occasion is can be a special family night or treat.
The only thing I can think of to do is to teach kids about nutrition so they make better choices and you don't have to be the bad guy. Also if meals are planned ahead, a family can cook every night. Just sit down with the family and make a plan. The kids can prepare, peel etc. the veggies, Mom and dad can toss some chicken breasts in the oven and make a pot of rice. Dinner is done and everyone worked on it together.
There's no reason that working parents should have to do everything alone, kids can help. They eat too, so why not?
I don't think overusing fast food restaurants makes one a bad parent, but it certainly isn't what is best for the child's overall health.
This is a very unhealthy habit to put a family through. Our society has created this, "no time" issue. We have allowed ourselves to get caught up in the demand of fast pace living, that we have forgotten how to take care of the most important part of consuming fuel into our bodies. "No time" is just an excuse! Make time to not only feed your boby wholesomely, but to teach your children that fast food is a treat only and not an everyday resource for nutrition. Trust yourself, if you can make time to watch your favorite tv show or sport game, you can make time to feed your boby in the right way!

Why can't I stop eating fast food? Fast food for me is a vice. There's nothing else like it and even though I want to stop eating fast food I keep finding myself at the drive through window. I don't understand why my willpower is not stronger than it is.

Will fast food restaurants ever go out of business? The trend is leaning towards healthier eating, so will fatty, sugary and fried foods ever go by the wayside?
