    What is your favourite beer?

I like Stella Artois, Sleeman's Honey Brown and Coors Light.

When I can afford it: Saranac Pale Ale.

When I can't: Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Sorry, cock up, that is -
      Adnam's Spindrift
      Marston's Brakspere.
I detest all forms of lager, I don't consider it to be beer.

    Old Speckled Hen
    Theakston's Peculiar
    Marston's Pedigree
    Guiness Draught
    San Miguel

The first four are British brews and range in taste and alcohol content - from the dark stouty Peculiar to the bitter tang of Old Hen.

Yep, I also like Old Speckled Hen.  There are too many to list, but with the two I put down as my favourites, I would add, Hen's Tooth, Spitfire, and Bishop's Finger, et al..

Right now at this time of year, I would prefer Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale.  All year long I find my local hometown brew, Straub Amber Lager.

In America, Trader Joe's 'vintage ale' for special occasions, or 'stockyard' oatmeal stout.
In Germany, Andechs doppelbock dunkel for a staggering swig.
    In Belgium, ANYTHING except Stella

My favorite is New Belgium Brewing Company's 1554 Enlightened Black Ale. It's dark and chocolately and makes a wonderful accompaniment to blue cheese crusted beef filet!

Its got to be either Belgium cherry beer or Stella Artois filtered.
