    With cumin!
I have four delicious recipes for ground venison here on HP - check 'em out!
    Here's my favorite - stuffed peppers! … and-Garlic

They're definitely my most popular articles this time of year.  Haven't yet posted the jerkies or stews... mmmMMM!

Goes quick around here lol!  Guess I could've mentioned I use venison in heavily seasoned dishes - chili, tacos, etc. If it's for hamburgers I mix it half with beef.  I do meatloaf both ways.

    With heat.

Ok.  Now that I got the sarcastic jerk out of my system:
We used to simply fry it in some oil with salt and pepper. But venison is very gamey so be aware of that. You can also use it in stews but you're gonna want some really flavorful/savory herbs in it.
It's very good flame grilled as well (and this is probably the most effective way in terms of cooking the gaminess out of it).

However you cook it, make sure it's always well done. You don't want to eat venison rare or medium rare.

In all honesty, my favorite way to ever have venison is to fry it in some olive oil with some sauteed garlic and salt and pepper, then have the left-overs cold with lots of salt. But I'm weird.

My old man likes the backstraps (tenderloins) rare with sauteed onions and montreal seasoning.  I eat our hunted venison more rare than I do beef from the supermarket.
