I've heard recipes are popular on Pinterest. There's also Twitter. I write stories and not recipes but both are goo sharing sites especially if you have pictures of the food.

If you mean on HubPages you create a recipe Hub and 'Food and Cooking' is a good site to place it in.

Pinterest is a great place to share your recipes because food and recipes are such a popular topic. According to Mashable { http://mashable.com/2012/03/12/pinteres … es-boards/ }  food is #4 on the top ten categories list. The trick is to have a stellar image to go along with the link because that is the first impression that people decide if they want to repin or not. Here are a few helpful tips that I have learned along the way:

    1. Make sure that the board that you are pinning is in the correct category (food and beverage) so that the pin shows up in mass searches
    2. Create a new pin and upload a good quality image of the food
    3. Make sure that your image has your website overlaid so that it can be traced back to the original post
    3. Once you choose "pin" you will be prompted with the option to view. Choose yes and then choose the pencil to edit your pin. You can now pasted your URL into the pin.

I can give you an example of how powerful Pinterest can be... I have a post for a recipe that I pinned and below are the results.

It currently has: 42383 total views
22086 of those view are from Pinterest alone.

    Hope this helps!
