    9. Homemade potato rolls
    10. Chocolate fudge cake

    My own personal favorite is a cheese ball made with cream cheese, crisp bacon crumbles and jalapeno pepper jelly. Always requested!

    The top ten potluck dishes are: A whole ham, mashed potatoes, potato salad, fruit salad, green salad, corn bread, cake or cup cakes, pies, cheese ball with crackers, salsa and guacamole with chips.

    Honey glazed chicken wings
    Pork Pate with fresh coriander use as a dip or starters
    Smoked salmon and asparagus
    Vegetable meal with boiled eggs
    Ratatouille with zucchini, tomatoes onions you could add lentils
    Chickpeas casserole with tomatoes and onions slightly spiced with garlic
    Tuna sandwiches with lettuce and mayonnaise
    Shrimps with rice and finely chopped garlic with some olive oil
    Cheesy Turkey Enchiladas with Tomatillo Salsa and Cilantro
    Macaroni with a selection of variety cheeses

    Here are the top for what I've seen:
    1. Mashed potatoes
    2. Ham
    3. Meatballs
    4. Taco dip
    5. Scalloped corn
    6. Mini tacos
    7. Macaroni and cheese
    8. Sweet potato casserole
    9. Quinoa
    10. Green beans
    I had a hard time with thinking about the last few because we always have an over surge of desserts. Here are the top ten for the desserts when it comes to the holiday potlucks.
    1. Chocolate pie
    2. Raspberry pie
    3. Chocolate cheesecake
    4. Cherry cheesecake
    5. Fudge
    6. Gingerbread cookies
    7. Sugar cookie cut-outs
    8. Peanut butter kiss cookies
    9. Brownies
    10. Chocolate covered marshmallows

      I love sweet potato casserole, I am in charge of making it all the time for the holidays. Everyone loves it...goes fast...sometimes I make it anytime, Sweet potatoes are awesome, a superfood.

    In my experience:
    1) Three bean salad
    2)  Chip and dip tray
    3)  Veggie and dip tray
    4)  Crackers and cheese tray (sometimes with cold cuts)
    5)  Cookies
    6)  Brownies
    7)  Chili
    8)  Fruit salad
    9)  Tossed green salad
    10) French bread with spinach dip

    Obviously, some are more suited to warm weather gatherings; others to chillier times of year...but all are simple, easy to fix and transport.
