Do you think it is important to cover a BBQ grill brush, that you use to clean off your grill with?

I'm talking about after use, especially when it is kept outside.

Ours goes into the cabinet under the grill after use; it's not otherwise covered.  We turn on the grill, and use the brush to clean it when it's gotten good and hot, so anything undesirable is burned off, including whatever remnants might have previously stuck to the grill itself.

Yes but clean it first with dish washing soap with hot water to take out the grease then air dry to prevent bacteria growth

I have winding outline barbecue brush bought from http://optimalgrillbrush.com. I like its long handle characteristic in light of the fact that it permits me to clean warm flame broil and its meshes
