If you were only allowed ONE flavor of ice cream for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Imagine that you have to choose one flavor of ice cream now, and you can never change that choice. Would it be plain old vanilla, cheeky choccy chip or something exotic?

Probably rum and raisin, though pistachio kulfi runs a close second smile

I always liked rum and raisin, but don't think I've tried pistachio kulfi smile

I think I would go with Dutch Chocolate. I don't think I would ever get tired of chocolate as compared to other flavors.

I'm not really sure savateuse. It's just a flavor of ice cream that I like.

I make banana soft serve using bananas, peanut butter, and chocolate chips, and occasionally, coconut milk. That's the only ice cream I've had in many years, and it's all I need.

Black liquorice ice-cream is my favourite, the next one would be maple walnut.

A toss up between french vanilla and cookies and cream.

I am pretty simple when it comes to food.

Chocolate chip cookie dough, but the vanilla flavoring actually comes from vanilla, not beavers.

Chocolate. My answer to pretty much anything food related is chocolate.

Never eating any other type of ice cream except chocolate mint would keep me happy. I try other flavors occasionally to see what I'm missing, but I always come back to my favorite. I love the combination of chocolate and peppermint.

That's my fav as well, although if I was stuck with one flavor of ice cream and wanted to make  ice cream milk shakes & sodas, or layer it with cake I would want something more versatile like cookies & cream.

My all time favorite is tutti frutti but it's hard to find in the US, at least where I live. Rocky road is close second, and that's what I always eat.

Rum and raisin for me old bean,
the tastiest ice, sort of sweet and mean.
Each lick and bite brings rum
to the taste buds and the tum,
    mingled with real juicy raisin
    flavour. No better tastin!!!!

I only ever eat ice cream when I go to the movies. I seem to be on auto pilot...movies=ice cream.

Salted Caramel would do for me smile I can't be sure that I wouldn't get thoroughly sick of it if I was restricted to that one flavor for the rest of my life, but I'd be willing to give it a go!

you could be right about the lack of variety, but a lot of people do tend to pick the same flavors again and again

Mint Chocolate Chip all the way. It's minty, chocolatey, and is bright green so it goes with major holidays like Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, etc.

Well, some of my favorites are Cinnamon, Espresso (or Coffee), and Pistachio.  However, if I'm married to it for life... I'd have to choose plain old Vanilla - that way I can add a different topping every time and still get my variety!

I would probably have to go with Baskin Robbins Lemon Custard. I pray that flavor is never discontinued. Sadly I don't live very close to a BR-31. I know I already answered the question, but I'm also very fond of vanilla or 'twist' soft serve ice cream.
