    Chicken Teriyaki on brown rice.

Funnily enough, my daughter likes it too - apparently it's a little odd for a 13mth old to like rice on it's own, let alone sushi rice (or brown rice for that matter)...but it means I can buy the bigger serving and share it!

Sushi and sashimi, teppanyaki, are all delicious. If the flesh is raw, sign me up. It it is cooked make it savory and a little sweet.

I am totally unfamiliar with Japanese food, and as a vegetarian, I'm kind of scared to try it; i wouldn't want to be slipped any fish, raw or otherwise.
I mean, I realize that isn't the only thing they eat; I just don't know anything about it except for the sushi you hear about all the time.

There are a number of vegetarian options, and from what I've experienced, they are happy if you ask which do not contain meat or fish. It isn't for everyone though - my first sushi had too much sushi vinegar in the rice and put me off for years!
