    Sharing this article as a Filipino myself and also got something to add and share.

    Lumpia Shanghai got lots of varieties.

    There's the lumpia that we all know that uses ground pork.

    Then there's also lumpiang ubod it uses a fresh wrapper with some veggies and topped with a sweet sauce and crumbs of crushed peanuts. (don't fry the wrapper)


    Then there's also lumpiang toge which is basically bean sprouts as a filling. It's thicker than lumpiang shanghai.

    For Turon, I'd say you should also try jackfruit with cinnamon in it.

    Also, try the recipè of Mang Tootz Banana Rhum-A Turon. It's quite famous, I've tried it myself in Manila where it's located and it tasted really good.

      Yes, very versatile. It is one of our staples when hosting a gathering or party as most people asks or look for it. Also, there's this one vlogger called Abi Marquez, famous for making lumpia out of almost any kind of dish. smile
