Oven-roasted chicken and salad. Personally, I don't like oil and sauce when dining out - but I love pizza! So why cook? Just have a large (cheezy-cheezy) pizza and alfredo pasta delivered to your doorstep. Your house won't smell of garlic and you'd have lots of time to make yourself look yummy. lol

You could make spicy wraps? this way you and your date can put them together yourselves, me and an ex used to do that..you just buy and prepare ingredients before she comes over
You can make cake if you have an oven, it is easy to make but delicious!
There are lots of ways to cook Dates.
Try them in scones or caramelised in brandy.
