Is it possible for a hub to give out to much information?
I mean the purpose is to get people to click on the adds so if we answer all the questions either in the hub or in the comment section why would they need to click the add?
Maybe, but that's all going to be a matter of perspective.
I've got hubs that give a lot of answers, but based on the questions I get in the comment capsule, it's clear that many of the visitors are too lazy to even read the Hub, asking things over and over that are answered right there if only they'd read...
Are the ads on your Hubs advertising the answers you aren't giving? Most likely they aren't. Ads tend to be for products. I have some Hubs that draw a lot of traffic, but don't earn much. However those Hubs can be very good for directing that traffic to other related Hubs that do earn more efficiently.
Why don't you play around with one of your niches. Write some long lengthy hubs, short focused ones and stuff in the middle and see what performs best - both in terms of traffic and sales. Just don't duplicate content and you'll be fine.
Let each hub have a slightly different focus. Then link them altogether. Most people don't jump from one hub to another. But it will help your SEO to link similar hubs. And you'll learn better what type of hub works for your niche.
Making money online isn't a science it's an art, that's very individualized for each person.
yes - some of the experienced hubbers here say leave the reader wanting more to promote clicks.
(unfortunately - this is a short-coming of my hubs - I don't know when to stop LOL)

Hey Nelle,
I wouldn't call it "art". I would say that it is a "science" as you say it is not, because it resembles "science" in the manner in which it requires constant testing, and repeat testing.
To find out what is consistent and workable.
Well, sometimes having too much information can make things too cluttered and not many readers will have the patience to go through it.
That's why I like things nice and simple, and well structured.
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." - Albert Einstein
Ohma you are right in some ways, hweover I think it is important to point out that when you look at most google adverts, they are offering a service or product related to your work. This means that giving a comprehensive amount of information will not have any drawbacks, and should help make users want to find the service or product that an advert provides!

Has anyone made $50 on hubpages just with only one hub?

So, I have finally finished my goal of writing 100 hubs but I have not published them yet as I'm practically frightened of what HP will do with them. I feel like I have been "flagged" meaning I just imagine the HP team seeing my new hub and going "oh that trouble maker again.. go on...

I've been writing here for quite a few years, I go back to the ancient era before the 'featured' 'not featured' declension.I have found that 'fixing' a Hub which is not featured is a total waste of time, as in a day or so, after a fix, it is back to unfeatured. I did an experiment and I can...
