I'm happy because after putting in some effort over the last 30 days or so, it's starting to pay off. My traffic is up, and I've been getting more from google and yahoo search. The only thing that hasn't followed is my adsense earnings. I've gotten about 4 clicks since I started hubbing. I'm encouraged by my traffic, and hoping that If I stay consistent, I'll see my first pay out from adsense in 3-4 months. Am I being realistic?
Also, after checking my adsense account, I'm encouraged by the fact that my impressions for the entire month of May match my impressions for the first 10 days of June.
Time is key, great that there more vistors, but not all will click on ads, not even half, so keep it up with the vistors, and wait.
I don't think you're being realistic sorry - I'm at nearly 5 months and $20 with adsense and 75 hubs...
The good news? It can increase exponentially - first month 10c, second 50c, third $3, and May over $12...
May hubbers say it takes about 9 months to get a first payout and it gets easier from there.
However it's the US summer so hits will be down for awhile. Just keep writing and you'll get there!
Ive had over 300 clicks and over 40,000 page impression in nearly 7 months, but I have nearly 100 hubs, bookmarking and keywords is what you need to concentrate on at the moment
Yeah Richieb799 I have been focusing on bookmarking and getting links going to my hubs. Each time I publish a hub I go through and submit to about 10-15 bookmarking sites and I try to look for ways to ad links to my old hubs.
I'm starting to get a small increase in traffic from google now. Lately I've also been using google's keyword tool to get an idea of what to write about, and what words to use in my hubs.
Perhaps I am being unrealistic. But Like you said Lara's Mama, it's exponential. I feel that if I can keep the pace up, things will start to pick up quickly but payment may still be far off.
Any other tips?

Is anyone else having a massive adsense earnings boost?I checked my earnings at about 6 and had very little, and yet now have much more in there. In Adsense this accounts for about half my clicks and about a third of my impressions of all time. Whats more, I am not showing anything up...

In about 1000 page impressions I got 6 clicks. That is very low right? How can I increase my click ratio? I notice i might get 20 cents for one click. If i could somehow get more clicks my revenue would go up considerably. What should I do with my adsense settings such as color of text and should i...

Hopefully someone from Hubpages HQ can look into this.I believe that those of us that are using a hosted account with Adsense are not getting any ad revenue on impressions from the niche sites.I base this on the fact that my daily impressions on Hubpages vs Adsense differ by a factor of about 100....

I know that this isn't a unique topic to start a new thread but I wanted to ask something different. I want your opinion on what I am going to do.As you probably know that the traffic for many hubbers have significantly dropped to 5%. I am getting 200 to 300 views/day now and 6 days ago, it was...

Okay - It seems there was an update to the definition of our earnings. I cannot say when it occurred.Basically we are paid for pageviews. One payment per view of article, regardless of how many ads are delivered to the reader, unless they back out before the first ad is actually viewed. Then we...

Well, it seems to me that my traffic is never going to increase.I am lucky to get one hit a week now, and the only traffic I am getting is from google.I know that being away for a while doesn't help much, but none of my other sites are doing any better. With all the stuff that is going on with my...
