Hi,
I have just started with Hubpages and made a new hub just now about Zurich and tourist attractions in Zurich. Here is the link:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Know-About-Zurich
Can you please suggest something to improve my hub.
Thanks
i think the hub was lovely and left a comment to that effect. What I didnt put on the comments box was that it would be better if you could work a little more on your grammar as it would then be easier to read. However a brilliant first effort
If you want your hub to be viewed by many you should share it, there is an option available at the end of your hub.
Thanks for providing this information Rizwan. I was not aware of this facility.
In a travel hub, I would like more photos. Writing is not bad at all and this is a great first hub. Grammatical errors are important to flesh out and correct.
Would like to see photos placed in half screen so that the reader can scan the text and look at the photos.
In additional to grammatical errors, you need to substitute "Zurich" with other words. You've used the word almost 50 times in the hub, and it really makes it hard to read. And stuffing a webpage with keywords isn't going to help you get traffic.
For instance, the sentence "Zurich is one of the world's most important financial centers with most banking giants having their headquarters situated in Zurich." Could be written "Most banking giants have their headquarters situated in Zurich, making it one of the world's most important financial centers."
I agree with lrohner - take the "Zurich" keyword OUT of about 40 places lol
Having the keyword splashed in almost every sentence or paragraph makes the hub look more "spammy" than you were probably intending...
I like the landmarks-list and 'places to visit' information on the hub.
Hi Andy, it's a good first hub but I definitely agree with Steve about adding more photos. In my opinion, travel hubs need many photos to encourage the reader to stay on the page. I don't think people will even read the text without more photos, they will just back click to the page they came from. You do need them to run down the right hand side of the page. People searching for travel information want to know what the place looks like before they read about it. I think it would be helpful if you had more pictures of the attractions you have listed.
I see that you do have pictures of the attractions, but they are in a slideshow - they would be better off running down the right of the attractions section - more eyecatching and people cannot miss them.
Promoting and providing the link of your hub is against the Tos of hubpages forum rules
Not in this forum its allowed for constructive commentary and assistance.

Would you want to be told if your hub had a few grammatical errors?I see a lot of hubs that are basically good, but their quality is marred by an unsightly grammatical error or two. I am tempted to comment with a suggestion for fixing it. If your hub had such an error, would you want to know?

Do hubs with spelling errors make you think less of a hub?Is anyone else distracted by a hub that has decent content but several spelling errors or grammatical errors?

Are you bothered by spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in hubs? How much does it bother you when you notice bad spelling and use of language when reading a hub - do you vote hubs down for it, or do you think interesting topics and content are more important? Would you point it out to the...

Should HubPages post a hub on Facebook if it has grammatical errors in the summary?I just saw such a hub on Facebook. I think this reflects poorly on our community and rewards substandard work.
