Okay, so I know that hub pages takes 40%, and that I get 60% (obviously). But I had some more questions.
Google adsense works with number of clicks on ads but I think I read on hub pages it's however many people see the ad on your article regardless of if they click it or not. Is the rule changed for hub pages or is it per click still?
Is it against any of the affiliate program's conduct to use more than one (example: If I were to use adsense, amazon, and ebay at once). And can anyone tell me if this makes a good difference in earnings?
Lastly can anyone tell me good experiences with using affiliate programs? I'm all up for feedback on them.
Good questions. I'll be interested in the answers too.
If you are talking about impression time, then the above statement is correct. If you are talking about earnings, then it's not.
You get 100% of the earnings from clicks that occur during the 60%-share of impression time that is allotted to your affiliate IDs.
Re.: "Google adsense works with number of clicks on ads but I think I read on hub pages it's however many people see the ad on your article regardless of if they click it or not. Is the rule changed for hub pages or is it per click still?"
Pay-per-click is still the most important source of revenue. Some pages generate pay-per-1000-pageviews, but that generates little income.
Re.: "Is it against any of the affiliate program's conduct to use more than one (example: If I were to use adsense, amazon, and ebay at once)."
You can use either or all of these programs in combination.
Re.: "And can anyone tell me if this makes a good difference in earnings?"
Consider what type of hubs are most suited for what type of affialite program. For instance, product reviews may work well with Amazon. It is difficult to target your hubs to generate good revenue for all of these programs at once.
Re.: "Lastly can anyone tell me good experiences with using affiliate programs? I'm all up for feedback on them."
You can use the Help menu to search the forums for prior discussions on these programs.

I subscribed to one of those "Make Money With Adsense Emailers" and I have to say I've got some interesting marketing emails from them about making up to 2-3,000 a day.Is this pie in the sky stuff?Or do you think some of these people might really have good tips and tricks for using...

People have been asking this, so I looked at my account. In the week that my application was approved, I have been earning a few cents. I looked under earnings, and it shows that money earned from HubPages is 54 cents. So, I thought, am I getting anything from AdSense? Yes, I am. I went to the...

I'm trying to sign up for the earnings programs and can't because I don't have a Google AdSense account. I applied for one a few days ago but was rejected due to "insufficient content". (My account has 106 hubs, some of which do look sparse after the import.)While I'm...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

I have noticed that upon removing Kontera from my hubs that my AdSense earnings went up. Kontera seemed pretty useless even when I was earning with it because the click were not really all that profitable. One AdSense click seems to be worth more than a Kontera click even when it's like one of the...

I know there have been a lot of changes in the air in the past 10 or so days... There was another big Panda update... then the stinkin' Penguin and all. And, HP has been tinkering around with the design of pages. My traffic has remained relatively constant through it all. But, over...
