    Me Again
How long does it normally take she told me to authorise a new member?

I signed up over two weeks ago and emailed again about 7 days ago but no reply, did receive the email saying we will review your application but that was it.

Any tips on speeding my application up other than hounding the life out of them would be appreciated smile

there is only one employee/owner for that entire site and he manually accepts new user applications  - send him a reminder email

its probably james@shetoldme.com  or admin@shetoldme.com - look around for help contact

To be honest I get the feeling he has become a little overwhelmed.  I don't really use She Told Me anymore, too much low quality competition.

I top the referral table and yet can go days without a click!

I will probably still use it for easy backlinks. And occassionally I get a monster click, if only I knew which 'scoop' they cone from!

Haha, well I am currently running a referal competition on my site, since I am looking for quality writers though it does have a slight twist to it!

Really wish I could set up a referal tracker, but it seems like a whole load of work!

SheToldMe isn't worth bothering with so don't worry.

SheToldMe was good for views when I first joined, but it does nothing for me now. (Well, I believe all the views on SheToldMe actually came from Hubbers there)
Since the site has worn off the newness to hubbers I get no response anymore on the site. It is good for a backlink it seems and I only use it for that.
And as far as making money from the site, I am still on .02 cents. And that has never changed so I am deleting my adsense account from SheToldMe. It is not worth the time.

I posted a loads of links there months ago and I don't think I've ever received a single click through to any of my linked hubs, far less any revenue from anything. I tried building a linkwheel and put one of the articles up on shetoldme but no-one visits it. I wrote to the owner a few weeks ago asking him to take the article down so that I could re-post it elsewhere, and he hasn't replied.

Sorry to drag this thread up but I have a question. I signed up and was going to make my first scoop or whatever it's called on there.

I thought it was a place you write an article for. It really does not tell you just what your doing.

So, I take it the "article" or post box should just be a short intro about the article/hub/webpage you want the URL to go to? Basically your just making a sales pitch to go and read more, right?? smile
