Me Again
How long does it normally take she told me to authorise a new member?
I signed up over two weeks ago and emailed again about 7 days ago but no reply, did receive the email saying we will review your application but that was it.
Any tips on speeding my application up other than hounding the life out of them would be appreciated
there is only one employee/owner for that entire site and he manually accepts new user applications - send him a reminder email
its probably james@shetoldme.com or admin@shetoldme.com - look around for help contact
Thanks sunforged
I sent a second email, guess I am best to wait a couple more days before James thinks i am a nuisannce.
Thanks Again I am a big fan of yours
To be honest I get the feeling he has become a little overwhelmed. I don't really use She Told Me anymore, too much low quality competition.
I top the referral table and yet can go days without a click!
I will probably still use it for easy backlinks. And occassionally I get a monster click, if only I knew which 'scoop' they cone from!
SheToldMe was good for views when I first joined, but it does nothing for me now. (Well, I believe all the views on SheToldMe actually came from Hubbers there)
Since the site has worn off the newness to hubbers I get no response anymore on the site. It is good for a backlink it seems and I only use it for that.
And as far as making money from the site, I am still on .02 cents. And that has never changed so I am deleting my adsense account from SheToldMe. It is not worth the time.
I posted a loads of links there months ago and I don't think I've ever received a single click through to any of my linked hubs, far less any revenue from anything. I tried building a linkwheel and put one of the articles up on shetoldme but no-one visits it. I wrote to the owner a few weeks ago asking him to take the article down so that I could re-post it elsewhere, and he hasn't replied.
Sorry to drag this thread up but I have a question. I signed up and was going to make my first scoop or whatever it's called on there.
I thought it was a place you write an article for. It really does not tell you just what your doing.
So, I take it the "article" or post box should just be a short intro about the article/hub/webpage you want the URL to go to? Basically your just making a sales pitch to go and read more, right??

I have just found this new writing site, that after spending nearly an hour taking a test to prove my worthiness! I was wondering if it was worth it! they pay you about 2 dollars each article if it is 300 words, but of course you have to write it about 3 times! is it worth it? thanks

If you guys could take a look at my California vacation hub, I'd appreciate it. I've tried to do everything right with it -- arranged it so ads would be at the top, added some nice personal pics and links, I just added some RSS feeds ... and it's getting almost no traffic. My Staten Island hub is...

So my first article has been published on HubPages network site- Turbo Future. I had never expected this. This is for those who feel lost here. We never know what happens! Just keep going!

A friend told me it's not as strong as it used to be a year ago when it comes to ranking in the SERPs. Can anyone shed some light? I plan to write 150 hubs on low competition keywords (well backlinked) before the end of august so I just want to make sure i'm not wasting my time. so far i've written...
